Hanno lavorato alla loro tesi nel nostro laboratorio, si sono laureati e tra poco partono.
La cena (e che cena!!!) che hanno organizzato era per salutarci e ringraziarci.
Ma li ho ringraziati anche io, per tutto e non solo per l'invito.
They worked on their dissertation in our lab, they graduated and will soon leave.
The dinner (what a dinner!!!) they set up was to say goodbye and thank you.
I thanked them as well, though, for everything and not just the invitation.
