Olhao-Faro-Lisbona-Bilbao-Barakaldo (in business class!). Starting off at 4 am.
Let's call it a day...

George è la persona che non ti aspetti nel posto che non conoscevi.
Non ho idea riguardo alla sua nazionalità ma so che parla il portoghese, l'inglese, il francese, il greco, il giapponese e forse qualcos'altro.
Ha il ristorante migliore di Olhao, secondo tripadvisor e anche secondo me, e questo è quello che conta.
Serve e intrattiene, e intanto ti parla di tutto quello che ha fatto nella sua vita.
E' buddista, gli piace l'etimologia delle parole e mi ha detto che gli ubriachi sono i pochi che, sbandando, puntano ad un equilibrio, ad una strada a metà tra la destra e la sinistra e il giusto e sbagliato. L'ho trovato un concetto saggio.
Se capitate a Olhao, dovete andare qui.

Pensavo che la mia presentazione fosse scarsa, ma poi Elizur, Sullivan, Kah, D'Cotta, Ribas, Mylonas e Scott mi hanno fatto i complimenti. In quel momento mi sono sentito appagato.


George is the person you don't expect in the place you didn't know.
I've no clue about his nationality, but I know for sure he speaks portuguese, english,french, greek, japanese and maybe some other thing.
He runs the best restaurant in Olhao, according to tripadvisor and to me as well, which is what counts the most.
He serves and entertains, while he tells you what he did in his life.
He's buddist, he's keen on etymology and he told me that the drunks are the few ones that, while skidding, aim for a balance, for a path that's halfway between right and left and right and wrong. I thought it was a wise concept.

p.s. Today I gave a talk.
I thought my presentation was sort of poor, but then Elizur, Sullivan, Kah, D'Cotta, Ribas, Mylonas and Scott have complimented me. In that moment I felt pleased.

Poi a cena, tra gli altri, con Sullivan, Evaristo, Mylonas, Hiramatsu, Carnevali.

Then I had dinner with, among the others, Sullivan, Evaristo, Mylonas, Hiramatsu, Carnevali.

Però ho ritrovato gli occhiali, per terra!

Potrei raccontare di tutto quello che ho capito del racconto di quella signora o del cocktail party di benvenuto, ma non ho voglia perchè ho perso gli occhiali e non sono molto contento di ciò.

I could write about all that I understood from that woman's story or about the welcome cocktail party. but I don't feel like it because I've lost my glasses and I'm not so happy about that.
