Un ragazzo e una ragazza erano sull'erba, stesi con la faccia verso l'alto.
Ogni tre minuti, passando, li sentivo ridere o li vedevo guardare le stelle.

Dimitri, poeta di strada. 40 anni compiuti lo scorso lunedi, scrive da quando ne aveva 16.
Più di 300 poesie in tutto, 4 me ne ha recitate a memoria come se fosse un rap. L'ho trovato su una panchina a mangiare del pesce dalla scatoletta. Non voleva che fotografassi né lui né i suoi quaderni scritti a mano, poi gli ho fatto cambiare idea.

E' arrivata alle Bermuda 2 mesi fa, senza parlare una sola parola di inglese.
Oggi invece se n'è uscita con un "Oh, that's disgusting!" in ciò che è stato definito come "un vocabolario consolidato" da una madrelingua.

She arrived in Bermuda two months ago speaking not even a single word of English.
