Lo vedevo da lontano dalla finestra di casa, ma oggi ci sono entrato.
C'erano i fotografi della domenica, ciascuno con 2 reflex al collo. Parlavano di bit e raw.
Ovviamente li ho evitati.
Ora come ora sono più interessato al significato che alla qualità.

I used to see that from afar by the living room window, but today I went in.

Ieri ho salutato Fabio, domani lascerà Ancona.
Andrà lontano, per un pò, giustamente, meritatamente.

Yesterday I said goodbye to Fabio, tomorrow he's leaving Ancona.
He's going away for a while, fairly, deservedly.

La giornata è stata lunga ma accompagnare i Dolphins in trasferta, passare del tempo con loro, condividere il clima del pullman e la loro felicità per aver perso soltanto contro i campioni d'Italia in carica non ha prezzo.
p.s. Stefania mi ha fatto una sorpresa (molto riuscita) e mi ha accompagnato!

It was a long day but to go along with the Dolphins to Padua to an away game, to spend some time with them, to share the joyness in the coach and their happiness for having lost just against the Italian reigning champion is priceless.

Stasera ho sentito un'amica che non sentivo da tanto. Mi ha raccontato di un'isola piena di campanili con due orologi che segnano ore diverse, piazzette con panchine ombreggiate da oleandri profumati, case coloniali bianche con persiane colorate e strade con nomi arabi.
Poche ore prima ho scattato l'unica foto della giornata. Foschia e nebbia, ma anche questo tempo ha il suo fascino se stai a casa e ascolti musica.

Tonight I heard from a friend I hadn't talked to for a while. She told me about an island plenty of bell towers with two watches displaying different times, little squares with benches shaded by scented oleanders, white colonial houses with coloured shutters and arabic-named streets.
Few hours earlier I shot the only picture of the day. Sea mist and fog, but that's a fascinating weather too if you happen to stay home and listen to music.

Chiaramente, i dolphins hanno vinto la prima di campionato.
Mi hanno preso, mi ci sono affezionato, gli voglio bene e si meritano tutto il meglio che posso fare.
E nonostante tutto, mi stanno dando molto più di quanto mi meriti.

Clearly, they dolphins won the first championship match.
I got involved, I grew fond of them, I love them and they deserve the best I can do.
And despite all that, they're giving me much more than what I deserve.
