Ignazio e Hosni, Mazara del Vallo. Il maestro ed il suo capolavoro, la prova provata che un mondo migliore esiste. Ignazio ha insegnato ad Hosni tutto quello che sa sull'arte e la storia siciliana, dandogli una ragione per continuare a vivere la sua vita lontano dalla sua casa e la sua mamma, che aveva lasciato indietro e di cui sentiva un'intensa mancanza a 12 anni. L'accento siciliano ha iniziato a farsi sentire insieme all'autostima. Oggi Hosni è conosciuto come la migliore guida della città vecchia e gira tutto il giorno, più volte al giorno, attirando le persone lungo il percorso, regalandogli tutta la conoscenza e le curiosità che aveva imparato a sua volta. Li potete trovare nella bottega di fianco alla chiesa di S. Francesco (che è bellissima).

Ignazio and Hosni, Mazara del Vallo. The master and his masterpiece, proof of concept that a better world exists. Ignazio has taught Hosni everything he knows about Sicilian art and history, giving him a reason to keep living his life away from home and his mom, who he left behind and missed intensely at the age of 12. The Sicilian accent started to kick in together with self confidence. Today Hosni is well known as the best guide in town and walks his tour multiple times a day, gathering people along the way, giving away the knowledge and curiosities that were once transferred to him. They can be found at the workshop next to San Francesco's church (amazing, btw).
